Mbabane- With the festive season buzz and excitement, it can be difficult to find time to remember families less fortunate than your own.

With this in mind, Skhubash Music and Gazi nation, represented by Sikhumbuzo Matsenjwa have created an innovative way for you and your organisation to help bring joy to the life of a less privileged child during the holiday season by hosting an event called ‘support a kid’ yearly which aims at giving a smile to the benefiting children.

Skhubash Music and Gazi nation is a team of young musicians from Siteki with two things in common, their passion and commitment for supporting less privileged kids in Eswatini. The concept for ‘Xmas party for less privileged kids’ was derived from the Skhubash music team’s participation in the TFCF Kid’s annual holiday party held in Mbabane back in 2016.

After volunteering in the TFCF Kid’s annual party, we set out to continue the tradition and expand the mission of TFCF Kids annual holiday party to our hometown siteki, and we have been doing that since 2017 up to date.

“Following the success of the initiative the past three years, we want to do this year’s event on the 19th of December 2020 at Engwenyameni Gogo centre (Luyengo) where we will render entertainment in the form of singing, dancing and children games. And we need the children that will attend to receive a hot lunch, a gift, school supplies, t-shirts and numerouas giveaways,” said Matsenjwa.

He added that the task of doing this humanitarian event, funding is solely dependent on the support we get from companies, organisations, friends and families.

“As young adults, we have the passion and productivity but we lack resources. Therefore, we are asking for your assistance in making our event a success.

It is our goal to host the Xmas party for 100 low income children, aged four to ten from Engwenyameni (Luyengo) through monetary sponsorship, school shoes, clothes, food, games and a sound system” he said.
