MBABANE – A jazz afternoon to remember.

The Mdzimba View Shisanyama came to life on Sunday afternoon as local jazz artists assembled to give fans some serenading sounds. COVID-19 regulations were adhered to as fun lovers wore their masks and practiced social distancing. Speaking to this publication, the organiser Menzi Mthethwa said this event was hosted to celebrate making it to the end of 2020, as well as to appreciate the support they received from fans and supporters.

The event dubbed Ingoma Jazz Gathering was hosted by the Ingoma Afro Jazz consortium. “We would like to show some love to those who have supported us throughout the year and we would also like to appreciate God for being with us to this end,” he said. This is not the first gathering they hosted and Mthethwa revealed that if all things went well they would host a festival in 2021. Rejoice Dlamini said she enjoyed the music that was played at the event.
