SKINNY G’S SODV VISUALS TO PREMIERE ON MTV BASE

By the time you read this, the much anticipated video for Skinny G’s SODV visuals will be aired today on MTV Base’s Spanking New programme. Speaking to the artists’ manager, Gino Kash from G-Stars Entertainment and Projects; he confirmed with this publication as he said the video will premiere at 7am, 11am, 4pm and lastly at 8pm respectively. Kash said this was exciting news for the artist whose song had been played even outside the country’s borders including Gagasi FM. Hala Radio, Brema FM, Pheli FM, TransAfrica and Nkomazi FM. The single is also available for streaming on MTN Music Time and the Ayoba App as well as on other digital platforms.

Real name Emmanuel Agbenyegah, Skinny G’s star has been on the rise in the past year and the artist expressed his elation as his video would be played on one of the biggest music channels in Africa. “This is unbelievable for me man and I thank God for everything he has done for my music career as it has taken an upward trajectory of late,” he said. The multi-talented artist mixes a unique blend of afro-beats, fascinating lyrics and a robust stage- presence. His publishing credits took centre-stage in 2018 when he was featured by South Africa’s number one Hip-hop publication, Hype Magazine. Subsequent to this, he was signed late in 2019 under G-Stars Entertainment & Projects. Among his achievements, Skinny G was an MTN Firefly Top 20 Contender and in 2020 he released his latest single SODV ft. Mzion. This track was nominated for song of the year at the MTN SWAMA AWARDS 2020.
