KING ZEPH ROCKS FUN LOVERS AT XCHANGE

MBABANE – The Amapiano house music genre has proven to be a favourite amongst fun lovers.

The Yebo Yebo Fridays at XChange Lounge and Shisanyama featured Amapiano producer, King Zeph for the first time in the kingdom. It is worth noting that he is the producer behind Illa Penboy’s ‘Matatazela’ song which he is yet to release featuring ‘Umsebenzi Wethu’ vocalist, Lady Du. Fun lovers started packing the venue after 10pm while local deejays gave out exhilarating sets. This included DJ Spice who had two sets on the night as he played amapiano.

Other deejays who thrilled fun lovers who had attended the show included DJ Khwanny, DJ Maye and Hip Hop maestro Master P who played just after the main act. Having performed for the first time on Friday, King Zeph brought along his drummer, John Cindi, who showcased his drumming skills as the ‘Denzel Washington hitmaker played his set. His set started at1am and the wait was worth it as the balcony was full of revellers who danced the night away in appreciation for the music played. In an interview with one of the deejays who played on the night DJ Spice, he said, “I honestly enjoyed King Zeph’s performance. It really exceeded my expectations as I only knew two of his songs but I really enjoyed the music.” Illa Penboy also said he was happy that the entertainer from South Africa finally performed. He thanked locals that have supported the Yebo Yebo themed shows and said more shows were yet to come.
