MANZINI, EZULWINI FOLK WIN LUJU TICKETS
Manzini- Tickets galore!
It was a weekend of winning and fun for many people in Manzini and Ezulwini over the weekend, as Standard Bank Eswatini activated both towns with its #BeTheFuture campaign. The campaign, aimed at driving awareness on the bank’s various digital product offerings headlined by the Unayo Account, hit Manzini on Friday and Ezulwini on Saturday. The campaign is also serving as a prelude to the highly anticipated Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival to be held at House on Fire on September 30 to October 1 this year. The Manzini activation on Friday was hosted by legendary broadcaster Moses ‘Mthetho’ Matsebula while Saturday’s edition at The Gables was hosted by another radio personality, Bongani ‘Bobo’ Dlamini. Both activations saw Emaswati take up various services offered by the bank including opening Unayo and Sibekelo accounts as well as the bank’s funeral cover which begins at only E18 a month. Those who already opened Unayo Accounts simply had to load money into their accounts and buy electricity or airtime to stand a chance to win various, exciting prizes on offer.
Participants
Upon registering and using the offered service, participants had the opportunity to pop one of many balloons carrying the various prizes, including Standard Bank-branded material like t-shirts, tumblers, notebooks, string-bags as well as the coveted Luju festival tickets. For others, like Nkosinathi Maziya and Khayelihle Mabuza, it was an opportunity to grow their businesses as new Unayo merchants were registered and further given, free of charge, Standard Bank-branded umbrellas, stickers and bibs as they begin their journey as Unayo merchants.
The activations were hosted in partnership with the bank’s partners; PSI, Luke Commission and USAID who offered various health services, including COVID-19 vaccination, HIV testing and free condoms. The festival next month will be headlined by renowned local and international artists namely; DJ Mbo, Gcobani, the celebrated Zakes Bantwini and Ami Faku, among others. Tickets for the festival are already available online and at Standard Bank branches at the Corporate Place in Mbabane, The Gables in Ezulwini, Manzini as well as Dala Spaces at Malandela’s.
