COUNTRY MUSIC GIANTS WHIPPING UP GREAT WORK

MBABANE – This year is turning out to be of great content as all sectors in the entertainment space are pulling up their socks, even in the Country music scene.

Country also called western is a music genre originating in the Southern and South western parts of United States. First produced in the 1920s, country primarily focuses on working class Americans and blue-collar American life but sailed the seas and found itself in Africa even Eswatini.

Country music is known for its ballads and dance tunes also known as ‘honky-tonk music’ with simple form, folk lyrics, and harmonies accompanied by string instruments, such as electric and acoustic guitars, steel guitars such as pedal steels and dobros, banjos, fiddles, and harmonicas. One of the most sort after Country music artists from the kingdom, Cleopatra is working on new music even teasing fans on her social media pages about her new music, ‘a decade and a rose’. Music duo Dusty and Stones newly-released documentary continues to be in demand in the United States of America (USA).

The feature length documentary which mainly focuses on the lives of the Country music singers, started to be produced in 2017 and  coincided with the Texas Country Music Awards, during the same year. The recording of the documentary took three years to complete in 2019 and the duo recently went to the US to launch their documentary, which it’s production was sponsored by American Director Jesse Rudoy. The documentary first premiered at Cinépolis Chelsea and was able to make waves up to today as it continues to be on demand. “Our documentary continues to be in demand; there are several venues in USA that are interested in screening our documentary recently. These venues have already confirmed the screening dates and they are mostly found in America, Southern America and Europe. Recently they also confirmed another date in Germany,” the Country duo said.
