During a launch that was held yesterday, Instacash Managing Director Mandla ‘Cheeks’ Nxumalo mentioned that the most successful recruiting church will be awarded as per their effort.

“The most successful recruiting church will receive E5 000 while the second-best will get E3 000, and the third will be awarded E2 000. Nxumalo further mentioned that this was an ideal platform for the company to ensure that the whole of Eswatini is eventually registered for Instacash. “This will ensure that money can be transferred easily in the country, especially for the unbanked society in the country. We look forward to partnering with the Zion Church, which has a large number of unbanked people both in urban areas and rural areas. We look forward to establishing a beautiful relationship with the church and eventually getting the congregants registered,” he said.

According to Nxumalo, the youth is slowly losing hope, as they go to school and come back to unemployment. Instacash presents an opportunity for the youth and church members to make money as agents of the Mobile Money business. The partnership opened doors for the launch of a Zion magazine. The magazine is digital and it aims at promoting the talent of local, Zion Church through marketing their music. Mfundo Matsebula of Zion Magazine revealed that their magazine is now digital, as it was previously printed as a hard copy. “This application comes with advancements which has options like upcoming Zion events, such as night vigils. There is also an online shop and a platform for selling Zion music. We will also publish teachings and sermons of the Zion church for everyone to access,” Matsebula said.

Board member of the Zion Magazine President Mancoba Mavuso was also present at the launch, he said: “I would like to thank Zion Magazine for responding quickly in giving the local Zion church a voice through their application. My gratitude is also directed at Instacash for what they are doing for the church and what they are yet to do for the church. We have many dreams as a church, but for you to consider this one today means that you would also be able to consider other people’s dreams and make them better people tomorrow,” Mavuso said. “The growth of the company is what we are praying for and we look forward to such a beautiful relationship that has been forged. We are very hopeful that this will be fruitful for the company and the Zion church as a whole,” added Matsebula.
