IF’S LOUNGE DENIM AND SHADES A BLAST

MANZINI – iF’s Lounge Restaurant on Friday hosted the Denim and Shades show.

The show featured local DJ’s such as Ayacity, Bay Bash, Wacko as well as Yamkela. IF’s Lounge Restaurant and Bar is a secure new hangout spot situated at Moneni, formerly known as Havanna. The spot has two VIP lounges and a well decorated main lounge which is complemented by a bar.
The event came as an initiative by the newly established hangout spot to offer fun lovers exclusive entertainment to kick start the weekend. The show kicked off at 8pm by local spinner Wacko who dished out a soulful Deep House mix while patrons were still making their way into the venue. His set saw patrons settling comfortably at the main lounge showcasing their light dance moves while enjoying their drinks.

His serenading set lasted for one hour, making way for the second spinner Yamkela who also delivered a solid set that saw patrons shouting and dancing the night away. He took over the decks with caution living up to the vibrant energy activated by Wacko. He delivered masterpiece Deep House exclusives which saw some fans asking him titles of the hits that he was playing during his set. His set lasted for an hour to usher in Bay Bay Bash on the decks. Bay Bash changed the flow by playing a Hip Hop mix which lasted for an hour. During his set fun lovers had multiplied in numbers shouting and dancing in appreciation of his set.

Decks

The bar was raised further after Ayacity took over the decks making his return in the decks after a two months break. He played strictly Amapiano set and the crowd continued showcasing their dance moves with some dancing just in front of the decks while capturing the set with their smartphones. Patrons went crazy shouting at the top of their voices to respond to Ayacity’s set. He delivered a solid two hours set to remind patrons that he is back on the decks following the break he took in January with his last show being in Midrand ,South Africa (SA). The local spinner made his presence felt, boasting with a thrilling selection of Amapiano songs. The show ended just after his set at 3.00am.
