WAFFLES ANNOUNCES 2ND PROJECT
MBABANE – Uncle Waffles has announced that her second project titled, ‘Asylum’ will be released this coming Friday.
Would it be too soon to call Uncle Waffles a global superstar, well, she has continuously shown the heavy impact she has across the globe through her unique performance style and aesthetic. She has flown both the Eswatini and South African (SA) flags, across many major international stages that many SA DJs and Amapiano artists are yet to step into, through her magical experience which many fans in many countries wish to be a part of. Last year, Uncle Waffles blessed her fans with her debut project, ‘Red Dragon’ which featured her hit single ‘Tanzania’ alongside spotlighting up and coming producers and vocalists such as ‘DJ Stresser’, ‘Yedda’, ‘Boi Bizza’, ‘Given Kau’ and ‘Tony Duardo’. The project has since received major love from many fans across the country and the continent which inspired her to release the visuals for ‘Tanzania’.
She has returned with exciting news for her fans, as she announced the release of her second project .This body of work is set to drop this week, which is a day after the one year anniversary of ‘Red Dragon’. Taking to social media on Sunday, the liswati-born Lungelihle Zwane unveiled the art cover of the project; she further announced the release date and tracklist. “One year ago, I released my debut project; unlocking a part of me I never knew existed, a vulnerability I never knew I could feel. A year later, I’m doing it again, welcome to the Asylum. Out Friday, March 31,” she wrote. The star who recently made headlines after announcing that she will be performing at the Coachella Festival. Coachella showcases popular and established musical artists, as well as emerging artists and reunited groups.

It is one of the largest, most famous, and most profitable music festivals in the United States and the world. The music festival this year will be held from Friday April 14 to Sunday April 23.
