I WILL GIVE MORE GOOD MUSIC – YOUNG STUNNA

MBABANE – “I will give more good music.”

These words were said by South African (SA) musician Young Stunna after his performance at Solani’s Shisanyama on Monday. The SA Amapiano star announced on stage that his new project would be released soon. Born Sandile Msimango, popularly known by his stage name ‘Young Stunna’ is a SA singer. He is known for his hit singles titled; ‘Bopha’ and ‘Adiwele’. He has also worked with record producers DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. He is one of the best Amapiano vocalists in SA, having recently teamed up with versatile musicians K.O and Blxckie for the recordbreaking hit titled ‘Sete’. On Monday, he started his performance with the hit song and patrons couldn’t contain their excitement, thus they sang along with him while he was on stage. The show was dubbed ‘Mogodu Mondays’ and over 400 fun lovers attended the show. Young Stunna gave the patrons a performance to remember. He also engaged his fans with his captivating dance moves that got them screaming. The talented musician was supposed to perform at 9:30pm, but eventually took to the stage at 1:30am. His performance was lauded by most patrons; some even captured his moves on stage with their cellphones and further sang along with the artist.

Collaborations

He performed most of his songs and collaborations such as ‘Adiwele’, ‘Sithi shwi’, ‘uShaka’, ‘Ngeke balunge’ as well as ‘Camagu’. His performance lasted for 25 minutes and by then, patrons had their toes burning since he was performing hit after hit. After his performance he announced to patrons that he has new music coming out soon. “Thank you everyone for coming and showing some love. It is important that I inform you that I will be realising my new album soon. I will give more good music,” Young Stunna said. However, he did not give a specific date pertaining to the date of releasing the album. His DJ, Fundo played one of the unreleased songs from the upcoming album just to tease fans.  Means to get an extensive interview with the musician were unsuccessful as he declined and went to hang in the VIP area with his team. Overall, the show was greatly executed as patrons came in numbers to party on a Monday. Local flavour was also present during this event with local DJs namely; Supa CDQ, Matamza, AyaCity, Sir Rhythmic, Itsallblaq, DJ Tap as well as Maye to name a few, giving patrons a taste of good music. A number of patrons exited the venue after Young Stunna’s performance while some stayed behind and continued enjoying themselves.
