The Standard Bank Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival is back for its fifth edition, from Friday 4to Saturday August 5 ,2023. The food and fashion festival will be held at House On Fire. Eswatini’s leading food and fashion festival celebrates the local, the wholesome, the creative and the delicious, proudly showcasing the amazing, diverse tastes of Southern Africa, as well as supporting local artists and artisans. When reached for comment Creative Director of the festival Jiggs Thorne said, “Festivalgoers can expect the sophistication and variety of the mellow music, fabulous fashion, culinary exploits, and craft beverages that the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival is best known for.” He went on to share with this publication that the Early Bird and online tickets for Eswatini’s premier food and fashion festival will go on sale on May 02, 2023.
According to Thorne both the festival organisers which are, House On Fire, and the festival title sponsor, Standard Bank Eswatini, are committed to developing the local economy and the Arts industry and are pleased to once again give local artists, designers and artisans the opportunity to showcase their talent and products to the region. It’s also worth mentioning that application forms for aspiring traders in the food, fashion, design, and lifestyle sectors, as well as for the children’s Beehive zone, will soon be available on the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival website, www.lujufestival.com.
