MBABANE –  South  African duo Mellow, Sleazy have postponed their show to April 22,  this year.

After they were scheduled to close of the Easter weekend fun at Solani’s Shisanyama on Monday, the SA music duo has been confirmed to be coming to the country in a weeks’ time. The musical duo on their Instagram page published a statement which also served as an apology to their local fans. It read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we apologise to the Solani’s patrons and our fans that wanted to rock with us today April 10 in Eswatini. We are happy to announce that the new date is April 22 and we can’t wait to see you.” During the compilation of this story, the duo’s Entertainment manager Locco Khumalo  stated that he could not immediately comment on why the show was postponed as he was waiting for answers from his superiors. Mellow and Sleazy are a power duo that has been making headlines not only in Mzansi but internationally. They have made an incredible name for themselves as one of South Africa’s top Amapiano musicians. In just a few years, they have collaborated with some top musicians in the industry, such as DJ Maphorisa, Young Stunna, Focalistic, and Felo Le Tee, among others. As a result, they have succeeded in keeping Mzansi dancing their days and nights away.

Unique

The musicians go by their stage names during performances. However, Mellow’s real name is Phemelo Sefanyetse, while Sleazy’s name is Olebogeng Kwanaite. Interestingly, both were born in Pretoria, and their paths crossed at the perfect time when their passion for music was at the top. The music artists were pioneers of the Bacardi Sound, which is slowly making its way into the SA music industry. Their unique music style came in handy in making a niche for themselves and standing out from the crowd. Solani’s started of their Easter weekend fun festivities on Thursday evening with SA vocalist, Daliwonga. The fun did not end there as the venue also hosted ‘Bhebha’ hitmakers, Visca and Shaunmusiq and FTears on Saturday and entry fee for all the shows was E120.
