LOCAL DIRECTOR GETS SA’S GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY GIG
MBABANE – Founder of Primerk Originals Khethuxolo Malinga was recruited last week to be part of the behind the scenes crew of one of South Africa’s much loved television soap opera, Generations: The Legacy.
Generations: The Legacy is an SA soap opera created and produced by Mfundi Vundla. It is a remake of the soap opera Generations, also created and produced by Vundla, but with many new different characters, different settings and different tones. It is the second most watched television show in SA. Malinga last week during an interview with the Entertainment Desk shared that he was recruited in the crew department. It is worth nothing that Malinga’s film academy; Primerk Originals has been conducting acting master classes for a couple of weeks now.
His company is an entertainment and media house specialising in film production, animation, talk shows, visual advertising, documentary, audio production and digital visual effects for the cultural and creative industry. Expectations
Primerk Originals is located in Eswatini and its main objective is to grow and improve the film production industry in the country. Malinga went on to say, “The aim is also to develop actors, artists, directors and writers to name a few and to reduce the struggle of unemployment in Eswatini, especially in the film industry.
