WOM-PACT LAUNCHES NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION
MBABANE - Wom-pact Foundation successfully launched their faith-based non-profit organisation during a very intimate and private all women event that took place at Endibanweni in Mbabane.
The event which encounter slight technical difficulties due to electricity blackouts at the begining, kick-started with a beautiful acoustic performance from local singer, Bholoja, who warmed up the event by singing his renowned song ‘From zero to hero’, which was appreciated by the guests as they sang along. He followed up with ‘Indzawo yami’, all from his Swati Soul album, which was released in 2005. After Bholoja, the directors of Wom-pact Foundation, Velile Dube and Hloniphile Matsebula, took to the stage to give a brief presentation that highlighted what Wom-pact Foundation is about. The foundation is an organisation that aims to help empower women by creating spaces that will help heal body, mind and soul.
After the presentation, Clinical Psychologist Celeste Jacobs, who was the events key note speaker, took to stage and spoke on mental health and holistic wellbeing. Richards holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and has been in private practice for more than 13 years in the country. She emphasised on the importance of setting boundaries and how a person must have four Ps in their life those being; Purpose, Perspective, Positivity and Perseverance. Straight after Richards, Wom-pact Foundations General Manager (GM) Sebenzile Matsenjwa, who was also one of the speakers, shared a story about her life story which depicted how through pain, she rose to being the successful woman that she is today. Bholoja then summed up the successful launch with another amazing performance.
