JUMBO SA JOINS MTN IPRAISE LINE-UP

MBABANE - The MTN iPraise Gospel Music Festival has announced the addition of award-winning South African (SA) Gopsel artist Jumbo to the line-up for July 29, 2023, at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.

The popular SA Gospel singer will perform alongside Spirit of Praise and local artists Nothando Dlamini, Linda Dlamini, Shekinah and Sphiwo Ndoni on the day. Speaking to this publication, Melusi Zikalala, MTN iPraise spokesperson, said, “It is great news to be able to share the addition of Jumbo SA to our line-up for July 29, 2023. We are very excited to have him as part of the festival. This means that we have even more to offer those who will buy a ticket to MTN iPraise on July 29 at Mavuso. “Adding local talent to our line-up is also important to us, as Eswatini has some of the most talented and best-known Gospel artists in the region. They are sure to be a crowd puller not only for emaSwati but for visitors from other countries who are gospel fans and fans of their music.”Jumbo won Best Song of the Year at the SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards in 2021 for his song ‘Wena Nkosi Uyazi’. His song ‘Nasemsebenzini’ is also one of the most popular songs in his body of music and forms part of the many hits the singer has released in recent years.
