YOUNG STUNNA AMPED FOR THE ‘FIRST ASSEMBLY’

MBABANE – South African (SA) Amapiano sensation, Young Stunna will headline Mega Lounge’s third edition of the First Assembly show scheduled for January 27.

This event is worth noting that, it is for a charitable cause. Last year the show was hosting its second edition and the theme was High School uniform’ and it was very successful. Through that event, the organisers managed to amass quite a number of uniforms that were donated to various schools. “This year is no different; we are still fundraising for different high schools. We ask that after the event, the uniforms be donated so that others benefit from it,” said Zulu.

Record

Born Sandile Fortune Msimango, popularly known by his stage name Young Stunna, is known for his hit singles ‘Imithandazo’, ‘Bopha’ and ‘Adiwele’. He has also worked with record producers DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. Young Stunna uses Zulu and Xhosa in most of his songs. The musician recently released his latest album titled ‘uNonkosi’ where he actually appeared wearing the local traditional regalia.

Young Stunna will be making his first visit in the country this year at Mega Lounge. During the show, he will share the stage with local musicians such as Zulu D, Linda Dlamini, Sbu De Drum DJ, The Prefect, Supa CDQ, Tilungu, Matamza, The Bishops as well as Mega Lounge resident DJs. Mega Lounge Director Zulu D, when asked why they booked Young Stunna for the third edition, he hailed his energy on stage, citing that they want to give patrons a memorable showcase.

“Young Stunna is a man who needs no introduction. His energy when performing on stage is ideal for this show as we are looking to offer patrons an exclusive showcase that will leave them yearning for more. Young Stunna is also currently trending due to his versatility when it comes to talent, his songs are most loved locally, hence, he was chosen to headline the show,” Zulu D said. He went on to share that patrons should come in their numbers to witness the third edition of the first assembly show. “If you are an Amapiano fan, House music fan, Hip Hop fan as well as a Deep-house fan make sure you show up for this show. Entertainment will be galore, our line-up is solid as a rock and we are looking to bring the house down alongside the talented musicians,” he said.
