POPULAR ‘INYANGA’ TURNS TO COMEDY
MBABANE - It is by letting our values, desires and authentic shape the person we see in the mirror that we can properly create the life that we want.
Felenkhosini Oversea Ndzinisa, famously known as ‘Dr Cembe Lescalaba’, is now a comedian. He had been known for his ability to heal and soothe others, but he has switched gears and made people laugh instead. His unique blend of knowledge and humour is sure to leave the audience entertained and enlightened. The traditional healer began his comedy journey early this year after sharing his skits on Facebook. Drawing inspiration from the late Smallz The Comedian, real name, Lungelo Gina, whom he described as his late friend, Ndzinisa, shared that he used to spend time with Smallz, and people around them liked their content.

Some even felt like the duo could do video comedy together. Unfortunately, the legendary comedian passed away. Smallz The Comedian passed away last November in a tragic car accident. Born on the outskirts of Manzini town, the traditional healer said he will focus on clean jokes that will be able to accommodate all generations. “My videos will be very educational, informative, and entertaining as well. We will not do comedy just to pass time, but at least be able to change someone’s life,” he said. The traditional healer will be working with his uncle, Bhutana Ndzinisa and Slwein Comedian. The trio will do skits, memes, and stand-up comedy. The trio will tell jokes that are a mix of wordplay and cultural references. The jokes might also poke fun at the mystical and mysterious nature of traditional healing.
After a long week of working, a normal, healthy person will need to laugh. Comedy is good for everyone because you get to laugh, and laughing relieves physical tension and stress.
Worth noting is that the popular inyanga is also a Maskandi music artist. Ndzinisa has joined the lists of Eswatini’s most hilarious comedians who would give a person just a taste of what a good laugh needs to be like, such as Gedlembane, Dr. Shakes, Gogo Eswatini and Sl’wane, to mention a few.
