KABZA DE SMALL SET FOR OCEAN CUISINE

MBABANE – South African (SA) musician and versatile producer Kabza De Small is set to thrill fans at Ocean Cuisine on March 28.

This will be during the ‘Balcony Groove’ show, which will be hosted at the Riverstone Mall in Manzini. Born Kabelo Petrus Motha, is a South African DJ and record producer, popularly known as Kabza De Small. He is a major figure in the Amapiano genre of House music. Aside from his solo career, Motha is a member of the Scorpion Kings,where he works with renowned producer and award-winning musician DJ Maphorisa. The musician gained international recognition after the release of ‘Umshove’ in 2018. Kabza’s third studio album, titled ‘I Am the King of Amapiano: Sweet and Dust’ released in 2021, debuted at number one in South Africa, and Forbes Africa ranked Motha at number 18 on the Forbes Africa 30 under 30.

Accolades

His accolades include 10 South African Music Awards, two Mzansi Viewer’s Choice Awards, three Amapiano Music Awards and one Sunday Times GenNext. The musician will be thrilling fans at Ocean Cuisine alongside the likes of Zulu D, Sbu De Drum DJ, Twenty 11, The Bishops, Paris, Culolam, Fantacy, Maphi, and Lady Zee. The show will be hosted by TK and the dress code will be smart casual. According to one of the organisers of the show, Sbu De Drum DJ, this is a show not to be missed.

“Ocean Cuisine presents the King of Amapiano Kabza De Small, this is the first edition of the ‘Balcony Groove’. A show not to be missed, a moment to be experienced. The founder of Piano Hub will grace us with his presence at Ocean Cuisine on Thursday, March 28. “The show will start at 5pm, and before 9pm, the general ticket will be priced at E150, and the VIP ticket priced at E250. “Then, after 9pm, the general ticket will be priced at E200, and the VIP ticket will be priced at E300. All tickets will be sold at the gate. History will be made, so tell a friend to tell a friend, and let us all be a part of this new ‘Balcony Groove’ movement,” he said.

Security

Sbu De Drum DJ further shared that security will be guaranteed on the day and encouraged patrons to attend their weekly shows to win tickets to the show. “Security will be extra tight to ensure the safety of our supporters and their properties too. We will have drinks food and drinks on special.
“We extend an invite to the public at large for our ‘Wednesday Karaoke Nights’ and ‘Weekend Balcony Groove’ which takes place every Friday and Saturday as we will be giving away tickets to our lucky supporters starting this weekend,” he said.
