One of their, main objectives is to encourage creativity and information exchange of people from different nationalities or cultures.
Preparations
When asked how she is preparing for the pageant, Mavuso said that she would be visiting care points around the country especially the ones that are in her area very soon. “To add on I’ll be getting professional training when it comes to the Swazi cultural dances and the nation should expect more photo shoots coming from me, which basically adds to my profile for Miss Culture Global and not forgetting that I’m taking modelling classes with Model Manifest Eswatini.” The beauty queen also mentioned how excited she was, as she will be representing the country internationally because that is a dream come true for her ever since she embarked on her modelling career.
Culture
As bringing together diverse cultures is one of Miss Culture global’s core focus, Melinda said that she hopes that she will learn from the other cultures and also teach them more about the Eswatini culture. “I am really looking forward to the pageant as I want to teach them about the Umhlanga Dance, as this cultural event brings together unmarried maidens to show them how the cultural dances are done the right way and elaborate more on the Swazi traditional regalia, umhelwane , why it is worn and why.” Miss Culture Global also signed an MoU with the Ministry of Sports, Arts and culture where their primary goal is to establish a solid framework for collaboration and cultural exchange between them. Through their partnership both organisations seek to promote mutual understanding, respect and appreciation of each other’s cultural heritage and traditions.
