TESSIE CROWNED MISS TEEN LUBOMBO
MBABANE - It was a glorious day on Saturday as the Lubombo Region crowned its Miss Teen Queen.
Tessie Matsebula, 14 years old, from Ngcini in Siteki, was the fairest of them all in the prestigious Miss Teen Lubombo Pageant that was on Saturday at the Siteki Hotel. Mayenziwe Nhlengetfwa was crowned the First Princess, with Sicelimphilo Maziya the Second Princess. The top three managed to be victorious in the tough competition that saw numerous young teenage girls competing for the title. The Queen, Tessie Matsebula, took to her social media, expressing her excitement over the title she had secured: ‘‘I am very happy. We brought the crown back home; it’s because of all the support you gave me. ‘‘I appreciate it a lot. Thank you. Please continue supporting me and my princesses, as we are heading to Miss Teen Eswatini. Let’s bring it back to Lubombo. Thank you,” read Matsebula’s post.
Stationery
Miss Teen Lubombo Pageant had a number of sponsors on board, some of whom included Select Insurance. They awarded the girls stationery, Emfatini Lifestyle sponsored the pageant with E3 000, Sherwood Butchery Owner Zeff Carmichael bought three smartphones for the top three in the pageant, Lubombo Villa sponsored the top three with a weekend away, Siteki Hotel sponsored the girls with a bed and breakfast over the weekend, and Dyvson Lincon and Gcina Thusi also gave the girls a goat. During the crowning of Miss Teen Lubombo 2024/2025, there was the selection of the Miss Teen Lubombo top five finalists, who will be competing for Miss Teen Eswatini 2024/25 (national level), among other finalists from the other regions.
