MBABANE - We are a month away from the main event and the sales are impressive, as the event has sold 50 per cent of its tickets.

This was revealed by Red Apple Designs Director and Software Developer Majaha Nkambule, during an interview with this publication. He mentioned that this year’s edition will be bigger and better. “The tickets are already 50 per cent sold out, it will really be a big show this year and I encourage the nation to continue buying the tickets and all I can say is this this time around we are moving digital as technology is taking over the world, emaSwati should be tax savvy and practice purchasing the digital tickets as they are very convenient and safe,” Nkambule said.

Sponsors

Nkambule also mentioned that they still have the same sponsors on board and a number of sponsors are willing to be a part of Embiveni Biggest Braai next year. He further mentioned that attendees of the event will get wrist bands at the gate on the day of the event. “On the day of the event people will buy entry wrist tags, which they will get on the day of the event, but if you want to buy a ticket with meat package you go online and purchase it there,” he said.

Adding on to the organisation work, prior to the event, they will also have a medical outreach and lunch for all the elderly people around Manzini municipality at Millennium Park, where one of their sponsors, Village Baker, will donate bread to be used to feed the about 800 elderly people coming for the free medical outreach arranged by Embiveni Biggest Braai and Manzini City Council. The organisation, through their website, has also opened doors for stall applications for individuals and companies that would love to be part of the event. Stalls Manager Gerry Dobah also highlighted where stalls will be positioned, on the day, citing that those who are looking to have stalls on the day should visit the Philani Maswati website.

Stalls

“There are three places where the stalls will be found during the event, which include the main arena, the kids’ zone, and the parking lot space. Most of the stalls that will be available at the biggest braai are food stalls, which are your shisanyama and fast foods. The Kids Zone will also offer food and games as this is a family event,’’ he said.
