MUSICIAN, ACTOR MENZI BIYELA SET FOR IF’S LOUNGE

MBABANE – South African actor and musician Menzi Biyela is set to thrill fans on July 27 at iF’s Lounge during the ‘Warm Nights’ show.

Biyela is not just an actor but a musicianwho owns a band known as ‘TheNewSoundOfsa’ consisting of two more members who are Sanele Mmudi and Sanele Ndlovu. He was an actor on Uzalo, which has dominated all the soapies in SABC, where he was known by her acting name ‘Pastor Gwala’.  The news about Biyela coming to the kingdom was announced by iF’s Lounge Restaurant Bar Events Manager and musician Mistosoul. He shared that this will be an outdoor gathering, where patrons will get the best of vibes. “Warm Nights is an uptown outdoor night of music, fun, coats, jackets and fire for the upmarket like-minded people. It promises to be a memorable event for all fun lovers and music lovers. Our guest artist Biyela who is well-known for his role on the popular soapie Uzalo has been confirmed,” he said.

Mistosoul also shared that Biyela has promised to deliver a vibrant performance that will leave patrons with endless memories. “He promised to deliver a fire performance from his popular songs and also from his upcoming album. IF’s Lounge promises another excellent event with excellent production, good music, the best food and hospitality in town.  The event will start at 6pm and entrance fee is E70. After 10pm the entrance fee will be E100. Let’s dress our classy warm coats and jackets and have some fire fun,” he said.

Worth mentioning is the fact that iF’s Lounge recently hosted their annual ‘Spring Bash’ show, which was headlined by South African musician and talented producer Ralf Gum. Mistosoul also revealed they will have another edition and the date has already been set. “We are looking forward to having another edition of Spring Bash this year and we will be having it on September 21. The main artist is yet to be announced with more additional information,” he said.
