CHORAL MUSIC ASSOCIATION ELECTS NEW COMMITTEE
MBABANE – On Sunday, the Eswatini Choral Music Association held its annual general meeting, where its elected new committee members.
The new committee is expected to serve a three-year term. The total committee consists of seven members and only four of the members were being voted for while the other three remained in position. This was revealed by the association’s re-elected President, Sihle Gumbi, in an interview. Gumbi also revealed that this was the first year they were starting the process of leaving some of the members. “After reviewing our constitution we opted to start a staggering process for continuity purposes,” he said. Gumbi went on to say that they introduced continuity because some of their sponsors wanted to see familiar faces for proposals instead of completely new faces of association members.
