AYMOS GRACES BIGGEST BRAAI AFTER-PARTY
MANZINI- Aymos, also known as Babili Amos Shili, a South African singer-songwriter, graced the Embiveni Biggest Braai after-party at the Mavuso Trade Centre in Manzini.
Aymos took the stage just before 1am following DJ Matamza’s performance and captivated the crowd with his song ‘Uzosisola,’ prompting the audience to sing along enthusiastically. During his performance, Aymos engaged with the crowd, expressing excitement about the upcoming Kota Festival in Eswatini on September 28. He also offered his contact details to fans, encouraging them to connect with him directly on WhatsApp. Aymos showcased his musical versatility by performing several of his songs, including ‘Sengzwile,’ ‘eMcimbini’ (produced by Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa), ‘Izenzo,’ and ‘Isgubhu’.

The after-party followed the successful main day of the eighth edition of the Embiveni Biggest Braai, which united thousands of people from different parts of Eswatini at the Mavuso Trade Centre in Manzini on July 21, Aymos, born Babili Amos Shili, is a prominent figure in the South African music scene, particularly within the Amapiano genre. He began his musical journey by singing at church and forming his own choir during high school.
Aymos has made significant contributions to the Amapiano genre, collaborating with renowned artists such as Samthing Soweto, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small on hit tracks like ‘Zaka’ and ‘eMcimbini’. His rise in the music industry has been marked by the release of impactful singles and collaborations, including ‘Zaka,’ which garnered over 2 million views on YouTube, and ‘eMcimbini,’ produced by Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa. Aymos’ musical prowess and ability to connect with audiences have solidified his position as a respected artist in the Amapiano landscape.
