Nature
When reached for comment, Dlamini said: “Creating this song was a great experience.” The artist further mentioned how he was a storyteller by nature, and it was something that came naturally to him. “I am a storyteller, and that is just what I love doing. With this project, I was looking at telling a deep story of regret that is also relatable and sharing it with the world.’’
It is similar to what the artist had highlighted about a collaboration with South African musician Aubrey Qwana. Their single titled ‘Jola’ also had strong elements of storytelling. The artist had highlighted how he was quite excited for people to get to listen to what he has been working on and be taken on a great journey through this project. “I am very excited about this release. I’ve received so much love, especially from people back home. I can’t wait for people to hear the full project, ‘Selemo’. The artist has been celebrating other achievements, like collaborating with great names in the SA music scene like Oskido and Zakes Bantwini, just to name a few.
