SA DJ ARCH JNR, BUSI FOR ‘SPRING FIESTA AND FUN DAY’
MBABANE – South African youngest DJ, Arch Jnr and musician Busi are set to perform at La Seth Shisanyama in Nhlangano during the upcoming ‘Spring Fiesta and Fun Day’.
The show is scheduled for next month, September 28, and it will feature other local musicians such as Bandora Da DJ, Moon Elo, Proness, Sweet Shandis, Prince and Zoleka. Worth mentioning is the fact that Sena and Offentse B will perform on the day. This was revealed by the lead organiser of the show, Nozi Hedzane, who shared during an interview with this publication, that patrons should gear up for some fun.
Performers
“Patrons can expect good music during the day and night. We will have the best local DJs and performers. Young, talented DJ Arch Jnr and Busi will be bringing the best of vibes as per their promise. “We will also be having good food, and people should feel free to come and enjoy, since we will have tight security throughout the day . Coolerboxes are allowed, there will also be a free shuttle in the morning for ticket holders,” Hedzane said.When asked what other activities will be featured during the show, she shared that children’s games will be galore. “We have different games, from jumping castles, waterslides, trampolines, quad bikes and many more. Adults will have their own games, which include sip and paint,” she said.
Bandora Da DJ, who is one of the musicians who will perform on the day, said he is looking forward to serving good music. “I can’t wait to share good music and mingle with my fans in Nhlangano. Make sure you come in numbers,” he said. Oratilwe AJ Hlongwane, popularly known as DJ Arch Jnr, is a Johannesburg-born young talent from South Africa. He started showing his love for music at the tender age of a few months old.
Overtime
During the toddler stages, his father, Glen Hlongwane, purchased an iPad for him, which was intended for educational purposes. Overtime, a deejaying software was installed by his father for personal use. There were clear signs of efficient operation of the app, while showing formidable skills of deejaying talent that was naturally transferred onto live equipment. He became an instant social media sensation, as he displayed his impressive deejaying skills to audiences worldwide.
Expectations were exceeded as he entered SA’s Got Talent, in which he won the first prize, with a unique display of performances in a triumphing fashion. DJ Arch Jnr has secured high-profile opportunities, such as being featured on America’s Got Talent, World’s Got Talent, Britain’s Got Talent, being a resident DJ for the McDonald’s U/14 schools soccer league, performing at the SAFTAs (South African Film Awards), AFRIMA in Nigeria (All Africa Music Awards), radio stations Metro FM, Jacaranda FM, Lesedi FM and Y FM.
