Talent

Mollis Group is a dynamic, mission-driven company that specialises in marketing South African-made products on the global stage. Lebo Radebe, Chairman of Mollis Group Africa, shared that they are honoured to have partnered with NACA Awards and support local talent. “Our mission is to showcase the incredible talent and resources that our nation harbours, contributing to its economic prosperity. We’re honoured to partner with the NACA’s and support the incredible talent within Eswatini. We hope this donation inspires other sponsors to get on board and show their support for the arts and culture industry,” Radebe said.NACA Awards Chairperson, Sipho ‘Big Fish’ Makhabane, expressed his gratitude for the sponsorship, citing they are grateful for the kind gesture. “We’re incredibly grateful for this generous donation.

‘‘Artists must get the recognition they deserve and with this funding, we can truly celebrate their excellence,” Makhabane said.He went on to share the main objectives of the awards, saying they are aimed at celebrating the work of creatives. “They honour the artistic achievements of our country’s artists, which not only boosts morale, but also encourages others to strive for excellence. Secondly, the awards help to increase public awareness and appreciation of the arts and culture industry, leading to greater support and investment. Finally, the awards create a platform for networking and collaboration among artists, which can lead to new opportunities and growth within the industry. The most important thing to execute is to ensure that the awards are organised in a fair, transparent and inclusive manner. The enthusiasm for the NACA Awards has been overwhelming, and we’re delighted to see the incredible talent emerging from Eswatini. With time running out, we urge all artists to act now and register for the awards before the deadline,” he said.

Development

Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) CEO Stanley Dlamini echoed these sentiments, citing the sponsorship as reflecting the value of local arts. “‘This donation is a testament to the value placed on our artists and the importance of supporting their work. We hope this inspires other companies to follow in Mollis Group’s footsteps and support the development of the arts and culture industry. The NACA Awards are still open for nominations, with the ‘Best Lutsango’ and ‘Best Model’ categories sure to be highlights of the event.
With the support of sponsors like Mollis Group, these categories will undoubtedly be exciting and rewarding for the talented artists who participate,” Dlamini said.
