CROWN GOSPEL AWARDS CONTINUE - BISHOP NKAMBULE
MBABANE – The 17th Edition of the Crown Gospel Music Awards will be held despite the passing of Founder Zanele Mbokazi.
The awards will be held on November 24, 2024, at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Gauteng. Announcing the awards, the executive producer, Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule, who is the husband of the late Mbokazi, said they will ensure that the Crown Gospel Music Awards continue to shine as a beacon of excellence in the gospel music genre.Nkambule stated that this year’s event holds particular significance for all, as they celebrate the achievements of Gospel artists and also take the moment to honour the blessed memory of the founder and visionary, Mbokazi.
Memorable
He said the goal is to ensure that the awards ceremony is nothing short of memorable and impactful. “It brings me tremendous joy to stand before you today at the Ukhozi FM Studios, surrounded by such passionate individuals who share a common purpose. We assure you that we are committed to fostering this collaboration as a tribute to Zanele’s remarkable legacy in our industry,” Nkambule said.The executive producer emphasised the board’s steadfast commitment to upholding the high standards that Mbokazi championed during her time at the helm as they move forward. Furthermore, he acknowledged the profound legacy Mbokazi has left behind and also pledged to build upon it.
