JOHANNESBURG YOUTH BALLET TO THRILL ESWATINI
MBABANE – Johannesburg Youth Ballet (JYB) will be visiting the kingdom on December 7.
This will be during the Talent n Motion Dance Ignition sixth edition which will take place at Mbabane Theatre Club. The show is made possible by Talent n Motion in partnership with the National School of Arts. Johannesburg Youth Ballet is a professionally run company that is almost 50 years old! The JYB provides an excellent platform for professional development. According to their website, they are determined to develop skills and they have toured several places in Africa. “Our repertoire includes full-length productions of major classical works, as well as shorter ballets, including original works created for the company by South African and international choreographers. The company presents three major seasons a year at Joburg Theatre, and also tours other regions in South Africa and internationally.

The company provides a high standard of training for students via Joburg Ballet School and Academy, plus a comprehensive programme of community-based development and outreach work via its Satellite schools, with emphasis on historically disadvantaged communities,” reads their website. Talent n Motion announced the news about JYB coming to the kingdom through their Facebook page.

Get ready to be stunned as the event is proudly supported by Kwakitsi Foundation which was founded by Her Royal Highness Princess Temtsimba Dllamini, Icon PB, National School of Arts and the Johannesburg Youth Ballet,” read their post. Talent n Motion Academy was established back in 2016 with the aim of empowering young people through a variety of dance mediums. All in an effort to create a happier, healthier, and more open-minded future generation and to empower young people through a variety of dance mediums.
