The influencers arrived on Monday through Eswatini Air and they were welcomed with a dinner at Summerfield Botanical Garden, where they were welcomed by the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Jane Mkhonta. According to Mkhonta, the initiative done by Eswatini Air will help in meeting the tourism industry’s target of E2 billion in returns.
“For tourism to flourish in Eswatini, we need a multisectoral approach for the industry, which includes the transport industry in all its forms, and Eswatini Air is one of the fundamental pillars where the sector could anchor. We also have an unwavering desire for an open sky in Eswatini, as this will be vital in meeting the country’s goals. We applaud Eswatini Air for their innovation in opening new routes, and we encourage them to explore more in the coming years, as they are ambassadors who will position us as the destination of choice,” Mkhonta said. Prophetess Nomusa Dhlomo also echoed the minister’s words, citing that they believe the initiative will benefit Eswatini.
“We believe this great initiative will yield the desirable outcomes for Eswatini Air, Eswatini tourism, and the country as a whole,” Dhlomo said. During the tour at Hlane National Park, Eswatini Air partnered with Tribe Studios, who made sure they captured every moment. Tribe Studios also appreciated the opportunity via their Instagram page, citing they are grateful for the opportunity. “We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Eswatini Air, we’ve had the privilege of capturing their influencers through authentic, timeless visuals that showcase their unique journeys and stories,” read their post.
