MBABANE – The excitement is palpable as Talent ‘n’ Motion Academy, with the National School of the Arts announced the highly anticipated sixth edition of Dance Ignition.
Set to take place on December 7, 2024, at the Mbabane Theatre Club, this electrifying event promises to be an extraordinary celebration of diverse dance forms that showcase the incredible talent Africa has to offer. The ‘Dance Ignition’ event aims to highlight the rich tapestry of dance traditions and contemporary styles, reflecting the continent’s dynamic artistic landscape. Talent ‘n’ Motion announced the news of the sixth edition through their Facebook page. “This will be a day where you will get to witness the best that Africa has to offer as far as ballet, African contemporary and Spanish dancing is concerned.

“Get ready to be stunned as the event is proudly supported by Kwakitsi Foundation which was founded by Princess Temtsimba Dlamini, Icon PB, the National School of Arts and the Johannesburg Youth Ballet,” read their post. Their involvement underscores the significance of collaboration and community support in nurturing the arts in Eswatini. This year’s event will feature two captivating shows. The first performance is scheduled to run from 2pm until 3pm i followed by a second show beginning at 6:30pm and continuing into the late hours.

In a related event, Talent ‘n’ Motion Academy recently hosted the ‘Show Your Talent Eswatini’ competition at Eswatini Theatre Club in Mbabane, showcasing a remarkable array of performers vying for recognition. The competition concluded with a resounding victory for Jamal Damane, whose exceptional performance captured the hearts of the audience. Talent ‘n’ Motion Academy was established back in 2016 with the aim of empowering young people through a variety of dance mediums. All this was an effort to create a happier, healthier and more open-minded future generation and to empower young people through a variety of dance mediums.
