SHEPARD BROTHERS THRILL AT REBEL AFRICA RALLY
MBABANE – Local talent shone brightly this past weekend as the Shepard Brothers delivered an unforgettable performance at the Rebel Africa Rally 2024.
The show was held from October 18 to 20. This annual celebration of music and community drew immense crowds and featured an electrifying line-up of DJs and artists transforming the tranquil surroundings of Witbank Dam into a vibrant hub of musical celebration. Hosted by the Rebel Troops, the rally has become synonymous with supporting local talent and the Shepard Brothers were ecstatic to return for their third consecutive year. In an exclusive interview, the brothers expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to perform at such a cherished event.

“It is always great excitement when we receive the news that we should come play. 2024 is our third year, and we are very excited. Performing at an event for three years back to back is not easy. “We really salute the Rebels for such a great heart for us,” they said.The Shepard Brothers’ continued presence at the Rebel Africa Rally underscores their rising popularity and the trust that the Rebel Troops have placed in their musical abilities. The brothers highlighted the importance of such opportunities, particularly when performing beyond their home country.
“Playing outside the country is very helpful as we get to play for larger crowds on bigger stages, share our own produced songs with the masses and increase our network and fan-base.
“It even opens more opportunities for us,” they said. Looking ahead, the Shepard Brothers are thrilled to announce their upcoming performance in Tzaneen, showcasing their ambition and drive to reach new heights in their musical journey. “This is just part of the so many endless benefits of playing outside the country; it shows our potential for growth and exposure that these engagements bring,” they added.
