TWO DAYS TO GO TO ESWATINI FARMERS MARKET
MBABANE – There are only two days left until the Eswatini Farmers Market is hosted at Malkerns Country Club on Saturday.
Preparations are taking a toll, as revealed by the brains behind the colourful show Culolam Dlamini. “Since we started releasing the line-up, the ticket sales have gone way up, and we are getting a lot of ticket requests from outside the country now, with some wanting them in bulk. “Preparations are almost done and we are looking forward to hosting patrons at Malkerns. Tickets are still available, so please make sure you get yours,” he said. This year’s line-up will include Culoe De Song, Murumba Pitch, Nobuhle, Russell Zuma, Dancing with Busisiwe, Stella Jacobs, DJ Cup and The Bishops, to name a few.
Accommodate
Worth mentioning, the event layout plan has been released and it shows ample space that will accommodate all patrons as well as stalls and the kids section. The theme for this year is ‘Africa Unite’, which drives the power of uniting the whole continent in the kingdom. Another surprise for this year’s event, three MCs has been announced for the show. These include KrTC of Hip Hop, Skhay and Thando. The three creatives all boast enormous talent, as they have recently handled prominent shows and events in the kingdom. Thando is one MC who successfully handled the recent ‘Ultimate Relauch’ activation, which was held at Club 83, on September 20. This show was a build up to their main event, which hosted South African musician Emtee. He has also handled this year’s Eswatini Biggest Braai.
Skhay is one of the most vibrant MCs that the local industry has ever seen. He knows how to keep a crowd entertained throughout the show. His strength comes from his creative hype skills as well as his bold vocals. He is not that gifted when it comes to dancing, but he does manage to show off a few moves that are able to capture the crowd’s attention. As an MC, he has shared stages with musicians such as Young Stunna, Kabza De Small, Mas Musiq, Aymos, as well as Ayacity, to name a few.
Endorsements
Rapper and MC Thamsanqa ‘KrTC’ Sibandze is one of the most successful Hip Hop artists within Africa’s southern region. Sibandze has received endorsements and partnered with many high-profile organisations, such as Coca-Cola, MTN Wireless, the United States, and the European Union Embassy, in an effort to promote awareness on the daily challenges young people within Eswatini and the continent of Africa face through the medium of Hip Hop and sports. One of Sibandze’s most proud moments was being selected as one of Eswatini’s fellows for the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).
