TRUE CLASSIC, MLINDO THE VOCALIST TO RELEASE ‘MAKOTI’
MBABANE – True Classic and South African artist Mlindo The Vocalist will release their new single, ‘Makoti’, today.
This collaboration is part of a recent initiative by the True Classic Group of Companies, which has signed M Nation. The collective aims to promote and integrate a range of musical talent from Eswatini. M Nation’s involvement comes as part of True Classic’s efforts to establish a record label, which had not been in place prior to this initiative. M Nation expressed its commitment to nurturing local talent, stating, “I was signed as the first artist, and I invited Histo NTM and Cool Drop to join me. It is important that we build a platform for artists from Eswatini.”
It is important to clarify that this arrangement does not create a single performing group; instead, M Nation will retain their independence as musicians while being affiliated with True Classic. This affiliation is aimed at fostering personal growth and expanding opportunities for artists in Eswatini.M Nation has expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming release. “We are excited about bringing this song to our fans. It will be available on YouTube and across all digital platforms,” he noted. “Working with Mlindo is a significant achievement for us. We grew up admiring him as a role model, and now we are creating music together. This is a monumental moment for us,” the musicians said.
Mlindo The Vocalist, born in 1995 in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal, is acclaimed for his emotive singing style, having begun his artistic journey in various acapella groups. He gained recognition through performances at venues such as uShaka Marine World and has a strong connection to ‘isicathamiya’ music, which has significantly influenced his artistic development.
His ability to blend traditional sounds with contemporary influences has made a substantial impact on his musical identity.
