MBABANE – The Ingwenyama Cup Culture Competitions took place on Saturday at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium in Nhlangano.

Buseleni Sibhaca, Lutsango and emajaha teams emerged victorious in the three categories.

Worth mentioning, cultural groups from across the Shiselweni Region showcased their incredible talent, competing for a spot in the finals.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride as participants celebrated and honoured their rich cultural heritage.

In an interview with some of the teams last week, Mehlwentfombi Nkhambule from the Buseleni Culture group said his team is coming for the title again and his words came true as Buseleni scooped first place in most categories .

“Just as I told you, my teams were more than ready for the competition. I believe our new strategies to take the cup worked in our favour,” he said. Nkambule also added that they will also perform much better during the grand finale and warned the other teams to buckle up, as they are here to stay.
