DESIGNERS SHINE AT 'RUNWAY REVOLUTION'
MBABANE – This past weekend, the Runway Revolution offered an exhilarating platform for designers to showcase their creative talents in Malkerns.
Spearheaded by Nomphumelelo Matsebula, a model and celebrated pageant winner, the event was a resounding success, drawing a mix of dignitaries and fashion enthusiasts alike.
Among the notable attendees was Prince Majaha, whose presence added a regal touch to the occasion. Other esteemed guests included the Honourable Mayor of the Municipal Coucil of Manzini Goodwill Dlamini and Nigel England, both of whom highlighted the importance of supporting local talent. Some of the fashion designers who attended this past weekend’s edition come from Mozambique and others from Eswatini, high school designers specifically. The event was also a significant gathering for the pageant community, with appearances from prominent figures such as Miss Culture Global Melinda Mavuso and Nowethu Motsa, the current Miss Eswatini First Princess. Their participation underscored the intersection of fashion and pageantry, illustrating how these fields can complement and elevate. The showcase featured a diverse array of designs, from traditional attire to contemporary fashion, reflecting the vibrant and dynamic landscape of Eswatini culture. Each designer brought forth a unique perspective, illustrating the creativity and ingenuity that Eswatini has to offer.
