MBABANE – Former back up singer for renowned gospel artist Sipho Makhabane,Jabu Ncgobo is back in the music scene.

Jabu (31) who shot to fame after she was featured  alongside Makhabane where she sang two songs titled ‘Akukhalwa’ and ‘Kuhle Moya Wami’ has released her latest album titled ‘Usizo Lwami’.

The album has been produced under the Big Fish Music, a company directed, by Makhabane.
Jabu’s album is expected to hit the country’s music selves on Monday after being released in South Africa last month. Jabu hasn’t been active in the music industry after spending a short time with Makhabane.

She was forced to stop singing after getting married as she had to move from Johhanesburg to stay in KwaZulu Natal as she had to concentrate on her new life. Unveiling the artist, Makhabane said ever since he featured Jabu in some of his songs, the people have been asking why he never produced an album for her.

“I had to patiently wait for the right time. I knew the potential Jabu had but the time had not come for her to release an album. She has since recorded and her album will be available to her fans in Swaziland as from Monday,” he said.
He encouraged the nation to support her by buying a copy of the album saying it was one of the best albums that has been produced.

Some of the songs featured in the album include ‘Ngitholiwe’, ‘Wangifela’, ‘Wazitfwala Izon’, and ‘God Can Do’. Makhabane said he would be bringing the artist into the country to launch her album as she had a huge following locally.
