MBABANE - Jazz artist Kunle Ayo cannot wait to perform for his Swazi fans.

In an interview with the artist, he said it was always exciting to perform to Swazis as they were very warm and receptive people.
“I am looking forward to coming to Swaziland.  I always enjoy performing for the Swazi audience. I am excited to be invited again because I know that Swazis know how to have fun and are always ready for it. I promise to be at my best, they will get more than their money’s worth,” Ayo said.

The Jazz Gallery is hosting the multi award winning artist and his band tomorrow. Tickets to the show are available at Legendary Events and The Jazz Gallery at E250 each. The show starts at 7.30pm.
Kunle Ayo, probably Africa’s most celebrated guitarist, has earned several musical accolades, even comparisons with giants of the contemporary school like George Benson, Earl Klugh and Jimmy Dludlu.

Ayo has performed and recorded with some of the South Africa’s best artists such as the late Jabu Khanyile and international artists in the likes of Kirk Whalum, Al Jarreau and Jonathan Butler.
He has produced music for talented acts like Simphiwe Dana, KB and MXO. As one of the most sought after performers Ayo has participated in a number of jazz concerts, notably the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz Festival and the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.

He has a rare combination of gifts, he is able to tell a story simply with melody on guitar and at the same time, fill the ears of a listener with an incredibly authentic musical point of view.
His passion feels rooted in his love for his homeland and his distinct appreciation for humanity.
All jazz music lovers and those who appreciate good music should not miss out on this event.
