MBABANE – Pub and Grill Director Lebo Clayton has totally denied claims that they plan to cut ties with renowned entertainment stable Swaziboy.

This comes after an article was published in another publication that the hot spot’s Manager Andile Mabuza confirmed that although there had not yet been a final decision on the matter the venue administrators were undergoing discussions with Swaziboy to terminate their contract. Clayton said the rumours were totally untrue and it was a measly rumour which had come from nowhere from an unknown source.

Fact

The article went on to say that the manager said they had not necessarily had a fallout but it was simply due to the fact that management felt that the spot would be better off hiring independent DJs and stables that would offer variation in terms of performances and draw a different crowd. The report goes on to state that Swaziboy pleaded that they not be dropped by the spot and that all had now been left to the Pub and Grill Management to deliberate.

“There is no such thing as us terminating contracts, we are still working with Swaziboy and the article was all untrue,” said the Pub and Grill Director Lebo Clayton.

Swaziboy Managing Director Shadow Zwane also confirmed that they would be performing at the venue this coming weekend and nothing had changed. He cried foul of people that simply put things out there before making the relevant confirmations.

“Andile also said he knew nothing about the claims and everything was written without confirmation,” said Shadow.
