No votes from Shiselweni in Miss Cultural Heritage

MBABANE – The Shise-lweni region is slow in as far as voting in the Miss Cultural Heritage pageant is concerned.
Since the voting process was introduced five days ago, there has been no votes recorded from the region.


There are 20 contestants who are fighting to make it to the 12 finalists to compete for the crown during the finals to be held on September 6, 2013.
The contestants are from the four regions and each region has five contestants.
By yesterday morning, there were only 146 votes and most of them were contestants under the Hhohho Region.


In the Manzini Region, there were only 22 votes while in the Lubombo Region, there were only four votes.
Ncedo Mbambo, the pageant director encouraged the public to vote as the eliminations would be done through the voting process. The results will determine the contestants that will take part in the finals,” she said.

She said at the moment they were happy with the voting process as the public had already started voting for their choice of contestants. “The voting lines are expected to be closed on September 5.

That is when we will know who among the girls have made it to the final 12 contestants. In order to make it to the finals, the girls need to have as many votes as they can,” she said.


 “I encourage the constants to mobilise their fans and friends to vote for them in order to make it to the finals. Also, I encourage the public to take part in the voting process so that the girls who will make it to the finals would be their choice,” she further said.
