She is tall and beautiful and oozes confidence behind the camera.

Thobile Msibi is a student at IDM studying for an Advanced Diploma in Marketing. She has dreams of being a Marketing Manager and having her own company.
Being a mother of a three-year-old beautiful baby girl, she knows what she wants. Her priorities lie with doing the best for her baby girl who is everything to her.

She wants to instil great values in her and be exemplary. Gcwala talks to her about her love for modelling.

Gcwala - Describe yourself in a few words...personality and dislikes?
I am a passionate and bubbly person. I am a chatter box, I enjoy laughing and spending time with friends and family. I hate gossip and people with bad attitudes, they put me off.

Gcwala- Where did you attend school and what are you currently busy with?
I attended my High School at Mpaka and I am currently studying towards an Advanced Diploma in Marketing at IDM.

Gcwala- Family, siblings?

I have seven siblings, five brothers and two sisters. I am the fourth one in my family.

Gcwala- How did you join Top Models?

I met Mbali through a friend then we had our own meeting. She liked the way I looked and my body structure. I have always loved modelling but I did not know anyone to help me get into the industry. People were always telling me to try it out and I do love it.

Gcwala- In the modelling industry, who inspires you?
I look up to Naomi Campbell. She has stood the test of time. She is beautiful and gorgeous. Despite her age, she is still hot!

Gcwala- Who is your role model?

I cannot say I have a role model. I am my own person and I learn from others. I have my own dreams, my own targets.

Gcwala- Plans for the future... say five years from now?
I see myself as a Marketing Manager. I also want to own a private business on the side. I want to supply organi-sations with corporate material. I also plan of getting a Masters degree in Marketing.

Gcwala- What are the challenges faced by the youth?

Peer pressure. It is good to dream but also be yourself. Young girls want the finer things in life then find themselves stuck in situations that they could have avoided. Do not envy the next person because you do not know how they acquire whatever they have.

Gcwala - Who is your favourite designer and why?

Khulekani Msweli of Jerem-Paul is my best designer. His designs are simply exquisite. He is original and authentic. One would be mistaken to think that they are straight from Italy. I just love his designs.

Gcwala- Are you into clothing, bags and shoes?

I believe what you wear gives says a lot about your personality. I am into all of these. I love shoes, clothing and bags.

Gcwala- Dream career and why?

Marketing, that is where my focus is. I am passionate about it.

Gcwala- Would you join a pageant like Miss Swaziland...why?

Even if I wanted to, I do not qualify anymore since I am a mother of a very beautiful three-year-old girl, Ayabonga.
