DJ Oskido to rock Whispers on Sunday

MBABANE – Popular hang-out spot Whispers has collaborated with Swaziboy to host Kalawa Jazmee’s DJ Oskido on Sunday.

According to Swaziboy’s Shadow Zwane and Whispers’ Melusi ‘Zox’ Dlamini, this will be a double celebration as this will be Shadow’s annual birthday celebration as well as a Pre-Spring Celebration.

The two entertainers felt it was a perfect day to host the event since Monday will also be a public holiday. Considering that the event will also be on a month end the South African musician, deejay and producer is expected to draw scores of patrons to the semi-outdoor venue.
One of the few requests from the Whispers management was that patrons should ensure that they bring camp chairs and mats to fully enjoy the out-door scenery whilst enjoying the great music that will be dished out throughout the day.

“We did a bit of research and realised that most people will have nothing much to do on the day as all events seemed to run from Thursday to Sunday. With that said we felt it was a perfect time to celebrate Shadow’s birthday,” said Melusi.

Among the long list of huge birthday celebrations Swaziboy hosted Fresh and Euphonik (Feu) at the venue now known as Club Babylon. DJ Oskido last visited the kingdom to perform at Esibayeni Lodge during a show hosted by Swaziboy.

Also performing at the event will be Pilgrimage Party’s Dumisani Hlophe, the much celebrated DJ Wicked, deep house spinner and producer Deenox, South Africa based Sabz who is known for being a resident at Kenny Kunene’s Zar, Papz, veteran spinner Ntombz, Crooks, Mixmash and T-harmy. The show starts at noon and entrance will cost E100 at the door.
