DJ Ganyani coming with ‘Xigubu’ star
MBABANE – South African house music legend DJ Ganyani has a bonus in store for his local fans who will attend his show at the Manzini Club on Friday.
The bonus star would be in the form of the young lady who features on the current hit titled ‘Xigubu’ who is known as FB.
‘Xigubu’ means ‘traditional drum’ in Tsonga which is Ganyani’s nationality.
The talented spinner is set to perform during the annual Spring Bash hosted by SwaziBoy Entertainment. His last performance in the country was four weeks ago where he rocked over 1 000 fun lovers at Club Babylon in Manzini.
He confirmed that he was hoping to come with the talented star as he knows that Swazi fans lover her.
“Actually on Friday I will just carry on from where I left off the last time I was in Swaziland. But this time it is gonna be a different vibe but one that will rock my fans. If all goes well I will be coming with the hottest female singer FB,” Ganyani said.
He mentioned that he already had new music and a couple of mixes which his Swazi fans would definitely enjoy.
“When I played there the last time the response was just too good so I need to make sure that I play the best even this time around. I always enjoy playing in Swaziland so it will be nothing but a night of fun,” he said.
Ganyani would not be performing alone on the night but will share the stage with another award winning spinner, DJ Ralf Gum whose song ‘Take me to my love’ is still a favourite among fun lovers and house music fanatics.
SwaziBoy’s Mthunzi ‘Shadow’ Zwane encouraged fun lovers to make sure that they do not miss the event.
“It’s a family fun day so there would be activities during the day. Games will be available for children so I encourage families to come out and celebrate the spring season with us,” Zwane said.
Tickets cost E100 for adults, free for children less than 10 years and E30 for children aged from 11 years upwards.
