MBABANE – Like its slogan, ‘Rain or Sunshine,’ the Joe Nina show attracted a good crowd despite the rainy weather.

For almost a week the show was in doubt due to the constant rains that have engulfed the country over the last two weeks.
To make sure that revellers attended, the Whispers management erected tents for the performers and the audience

There was a constant fear though that the show might be a huge flop as there were a few people between 2pm and 5pm.
However, people started filling the place as darkness was setting much to the relief of the management.

Spirited

The first performance started at around 6pm with Qibho and Sands giving a very spirited performance.
The few fans responded well to the local duo’s tracks especially the track called ‘Eita da’.
Dressed in a white pair of trousers and a red shirt, Nina took to the stage at around 7pm and gave an almost 90 minute performance of his old popular songs.

The audience responded well to his songs especially the one titled ‘Mama ka Sibongile’.
As expected, the fans went wild when he performed his once popular hit ‘Ding Dong’.
