MBABANE – Sibebe Friday Night Live and House on Fire have partnered with Swaziland Fair Trade (SWIFT) for the 2013/14 Sibebe Friday Night Live series.

The partnership is nothing but a brilliant attempt to help develop the creative presentation and style of this year’s performing artists.
This initiative is also aimed at encouraging creative explorations between different but complementary arts codes within the kingdom which ultimately empowers and promotes local talent.

Continuing with this initiative, the upcoming Sibebe Friday Night Live show featuring Amanda Mo has partnered with SWIFT’s Quazi Designs.
Quazi Designs specializes in craftsmanship of jewellery and accessories.

In 2013 they launched a ‘one of a kind’ collection of individual jewellery pieces, using waste magazine paper in a unique method and set up a small brass workshop working with recycled metals.

Quazi designs owns a retail shop in Swaziland at the Ngwenya Glass complex near the Oshoek Border Gate to South Africa and their workshop is situated in Sidwashini, the industrial area of Mbabane.

Each collection of jewellery and accessory design is motivated by a new technique; like creating paper wood from waste magazines by bringing the paper back to its original form.
Quazi Designs Jewellery will be available during the show in the evening which takes place on Friday. Doors open at 8pm and entrance will be E50.
