Times Of Swaziland: MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS TENDER AT ERS MATSAPHA MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS TENDER AT ERS MATSAPHA ================================================================================ BY ASHMOND NZIMA on 08/11/2021 08:06:00 Matsapha - Eswatini Revenue Services (ERS) is looking at selecting selected a vendor for the improvements/ remodelling of its service centre in Matsapha (Mahhala). The works comprises of, and not limited to demolishing of existing walls, new configuration of partition walls for back office facilities, service counters, cubicles, customer hall, information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure, heating ventilation air conditioning and integrated security system systems. This invitation outlines the requirements of the ERS operating in the Kingdom of Eswatini and the process to be followed by prospective tenderers in submitting a response for the Improvements. Tenderers Prospective tenderers are expected to unequivocally specify their capability to deliver the construction services in line with the ERS’s requirements as outlined in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) which provides the specifications, detailed description of works and quantities. All Interested and suitable qualified contractors must collect tender document at the Eswatini Revenue Service Headquarters Ezulwini, Ground Floor Reception from today, upon payment of a non-refundable E500 at accounts. Participating bidders are building contractors that are categorised B3 by the Eswatini Construction Industry Council (CIC) for the year 2021 and having the relevant experience and capacity to provide services as specified under the scope of proposal. Contractors in B3 are those that can do projects with a maximum tender value of E10 million. There will be compulsory site inspection at the Eswatini Revenue Service Centre in Matsapha (Mahhala) this coming Wednesday at 10am. All bids should be in by Friday, December 3, 2021 at noon. Meanwhile, ERS, formerly known as Eswatini Revenue Authority, is a semi-autonomous revenue administration agency, established through the Revenue Authority Act No. 1 of 2008. It operates within the broad framework of government but outside of the civil service. The ERS is structured as a corporate entity and strives for operational excellence and efficiency. It is headed by a Commissioner General Dumsani Masilela and is organised on functional lines.
