Times Of Swaziland: LET’S GO 50/50 LET’S GO 50/50 ================================================================================ BY NHLANHLA MATHUNJWA on 21/02/2018 07:14:00 MBABANE – It’s all about the 50/50 celebrations and artists are joining in. The nomination for the National Arts and Culture Awards (NACA) has begun. The Swaziland National Council of Arts and Culture (SNCAC) and Swazi Mobile yesterday unveiled a nomination line which will see the public nominating their favourite artists. The free nomination line which has been themed under the 50/50 tagline was unveiled at the Swazi Mobile Headquarters. SNCAC and Swazi Mobile are eager to have the public participate in the nomination and therefore it is one of the reasons why the process has been made free. The free platform can only be used by Swazi Mobile subscribers while subscribers of other networks which include MTN Swaziland will be charged. Swazi Mobile’s Wandile Mtshali said it was exciting for them as a company to partner with the SNCAC in making sure that the awards become a success. “We are pleased to be partners of this project. When artists are recognised for their good work, there is no way we cannot be involved,” he said. Mhlonishwa Motsa, NACA Project Manager thanked Swazi Mobile for agreeing to be one of their partners. He also encouraged the public to buy Swazi Mobile SIM cards, saying they will be allowed to vote as many times as possible. “It you are not a Swazi Mobile subscriber, I would encourage you to subscribe today,” he said. Motsa emphasised that the public was allowed to nominate as many times as possible.
