Times Of Swaziland: THE MARRIED GIRL’S LUNCHEON ON SUNDAY THE MARRIED GIRL’S LUNCHEON ON SUNDAY ================================================================================ Neliswa Sibiya on 26/04/2024 07:21:00 MBABANE - The first edition of the Married Girl’s Luncheon was a huge success, and all girls interested in all topics that include finding themselves and credit management should gather here and not miss out. During the luncheon, the girls gather and discuss different topics and aspects of life. “These are some key topics that we will dwell on this year and why we chose them; Digital Entrepreneurship. The online realm offers a plethora of opportunities for aspiring business owners. “Whether it is e-commerce, digital marketing or any other avenue, there’s a niche awaiting every woman’s unique talent and ideas. This platform will teach women how they can utilise the digital landscape to connect with their customers and audience and provide value,” Explained Hloniphile Matsebula, who is the co-Founder of the Wom-Pact Foundation. Management Matsebula also added that they will be talking about credit management, where their main aim is to break down barriers. Financial education can help break down the barriers that prevent women from fully participating in the economy. By understanding concepts such as budgeting, saving, investing and debt management, women can make informed decisions about their money and overcome financial obstacles. “Another important topic that we will look into is finding yourself; we want to encourage women to be completely and authentically themselves. That on its own impacts your own mental health positively as well as your relationships. So, to be a good wife, mother and thrive in the work/professional space, a woman needs to be truly who the creator created them to be,” added Hloniphile. They will also talk about God’s divine timing, in the sense that, as ambitious women, they have lots of dreams and drive to make them happen, but seeking and doing God’s will is the most valuable and effective way to do it. Transitions “The only thing that changed this year was the theme. Last year it was ‘Bring your colour,’ and this year we are bringing autumn chic. Beyond its scenic beauty, autumn carries profound symbolism, mirroring the transitions we experience in our own lives. Embracing the fall season can be a powerful teacher, urging us to embrace change, let go of what no longer serves us and find beauty in the impermanence of life,” Hloniphile elaborated on their theme. This year’s MC is Siphesihle Nkwanyana, and the speakers of the day are Celeste Jacobs-Richards, Vuyo Khumalo and Faith Madlala.Worth mentioning about this year’s luncheon, is that men are also welcome to listen, and they emphasise the fact that all women (single or married) are invited, as the information that will be shared on the day is relevant to all.
