MBABANE – Jim ‘Mbhokane’ Gama, the Ludzidzini Gove-rnor, is now half
paralysed.
Gama, in an interview on Friday, said the right hand side of his body was not
properly functioning.
“The current situation is enough confirmation that the stroke I suffered was
not just mild, but severe,” he confirmed.
The traditional prime minister suffered the stroke about two months ago while at
the Swaziland Broadcasting and Information Services to record his popular
programme ‘Khala Mdumba-dumbane’ otherwise known as Problem Solving.
He said he was discharged from The Clinic in Mbabane a fortnight ago.
“I’m currently recovering at home,” he said. “I’m taking things easy
and following the instructions of my medical team.”
Gama said he was in no hurry to return to work, saying he would be back in the
public domain once he had fully recovered.
In Gama’s absence, Zombodze Royal Kraal Headman (Indvuna) Timothy Velabo
Mthethwa, is presently keeping the fires burning – albeit on acting basis.
Mthethwa, commonly known as T.V. then wished Gama a speedy recovery.
This is the second time Gama found himself in such a similar predicament.
He suffered a mild stroke early last year.
