Times Of Swaziland: COMPUTRONICS WINS E2M FINCORP COMPUTERS TENDER COMPUTRONICS WINS E2M FINCORP COMPUTERS TENDER ================================================================================ Kwanele Dhladhla on 17/09/2019 08:06:00 MBABANE – Computronics stands to be granted a tender worth nearly E2 million for the supply of computer equipment to the Eswatini Development Finance Corporation (FINCORP). The company which priced their bid at E1 976 703.51 (VAT inclusive) scored 98 per cent during the evaluation undertaken in accordance with the Public Procurement Act of 2011. In the intention to award issued by the Eswatini Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA), it was announced that a period of 10 working days would be allowed for the submission of any application for review prior to the eventual signing of a contract with FINCORP. “The contract award decision does not constitute a contract,” clarified ESPPRA. Competing The agency also disclosed that Computronics was competing with Real Image Internet, PS Systems, NetComm, Slomoes Corporation and Titan Computers for the multimillion job. The most competitive contender was Real Image Internet, which had priced their bid at E 1 979 230.90. The company scored 88 per cent during evaluation. The third best tenderers were PC Systems and NetComm which both amassed 81 percentage points. This was despite the fact they submitted different bids of E 2 081 195.25 (PC Systems) and E 2 008 850.00 (NetComm). Slomoes Corporation scored 72 per cent with their bid of E 2 194 982.47. Titan computers who submitted a bid of E 2 184 524.60 managed to score 66 per cent during the tender whose approvals authority was the FINCORP tender committee. Unresponsive The ESPPRA mentioned that unresponsive tenderers were; Leading Edge Investments (Pty) Ltd, MLG Investments (Pty) Ltd, Cowell Technologies (Pty) Ltd, Cheble Yadah Investments (Pty) Ltd and Mpandla Investments (Pty) Ltd. In its official website, it was mentioned that FINCORP was launched by His Majesty King Mswati III in November 1995, with the main objective of economically developing emaSwati through the provision of accessible financial services.
